- It is all about loving those you serve, and showing it in ways that the individual members understand. In the mission it was the same way but it the Lord opens people's hearts I think a little bit easier in the mission field when compared to ward members. The relationships take longer to develop, but they are deeper, more love filled.
- I don't know everything, nor can I do everything.
- The best way to help and to serve and to activate is to get into the homes. Lessons on Sunday unfortunately are not the best way to uplift those around you, even for "active" members. There is a certain spirit in the home that can be accessed that cannot be accessed at the church in a quorum meeting.
- The importance of being one as a presidency and quorum.
- How fun it is to watch brethren and their families progress in the gospel, including mine. I have seen 4 families go through total transformations in their approach to the gospel and church service. It has been fantastic to see the hand of the Lord in a many, many lives in our quorum here in the 13Th ward.
- And most importantly how much the Lord loves each and everyone of us. I began to feel this love and to see it too. The Lord cares for all of us more than I can imagine now. I love him and love of all you.
