This week

Monkey See, Monkey do!!! Like Father, Like Son.

Well, unlike other other weeks this one has been tame, OH how we love tame. The biggest things we did this week was to go for walks when Rebecca told us to and we went, it did not matter that it was 97 degrees F. outside, she wanted to GO!!!! I have no clue how she did it being 7 months pregnant. On Saturyday we went to Grandpa and Grandma Forsgren's home to pick apricots, how Jeff loves his apritcot juice. We were able to bottle 38 quarts. It just so happened that June, Georg, Gavin, and Davis were also there. We would post pictures but the batteries were dead and we just plain forgot as Rebecca put me in charge of it. We missed Kevin and Nancy's non-homecoming. We are glad they are back and wish them well in St. George. We felt we really needed to go to our church today as they just split the ward, and we needed to sustain the newly called members in their callings. We as of yet do not have any.

So to what Rebecca loves:
Temples,Paperworks,
Emma,
Seth,
Jeff, and
Christ.
Next week Jeff.

Grandma and Bear World

Well, this is us at Yellowstone Bear World about 5 miles south of Rexburg, Id. We went and visited Jeff's family up there, in particular his Grandma. It was a great trip. We got to see Grandma (Emma cried when we dropped Grandma off to go home, she loves her), Kirt, Maureen, Meghan, John, Connie, Cowboy sam, Kelly and her wonderful children, old Jake, Annette, Angie, Mary, Dale, Isaac, Charity, and yes you Cami. It was a wonderful time to get reacquainted with our wonderful family. We even got to see Adam Winchester's pictures from his mission. It was a great time. We went up on Friday afternoon, and stayed with Grandma. On Saturday we went and saw the new Rexburg temple, it is quite beautiful, and then went to Bear World. They loved seeing the Bears from inside the car, and then riding the rides and petting deers. Then we came home and found out today that they split the ward. We are in the new Grantsville 13th ward. We will miss associating in church callings with the many friends we have made in the OLD Grantsville 11th ward. So that was our week. Here are pictures (I know grandma you would rather see pictures, than see typing, so do we.)

4th of July

Well, July 4th has made us think of the many freedoms we enjoy in the USA. Jeff and I have compared it to the lifestyle and governments of Bolivia. We are so blessed to live in this great nation, but we must still fight for it, as people want to take these freedoms away. This has hit home more than usually due to all the coverage of the elections, It is the first time I have really followed the process. Well, Grantsville does a small parade, it is not without some of the amenities of that larger cities enjoy, has a small carnival, and fireworks at night. We loved the parade, Emma got scared of the sirens though, but that was fine with Dad as he enjoys more of the sitting back and relaxing aspect of parade watching. It was a great time spending the majority of the day with friends and neighbors, actually one of our neighbors reserved a spot for over 25 people (their neighbors). Before fireworks we had some of the neighbors come over and we ate ice cream, brownies and lit off fireworks. It was really fun.

Things we each love- We will start with Emma.

Swing, read books, Dance, help out, Popsicles, and off course DADDY!!!!!
To be continued with Seth and then Mommy the following week.

Most recent week

Well, The major even this week has been the wedding of Rebecca's sister, Melissa to Kenley Cox. It was a beautiful day with a beautiful bride, Kenley you looked good too. The kids were 125% better than we thought they would be for the all day event. We are sure grateful to Ashley and Clarissa for watching Emma and Seth during the ceremony. It was a huge weight off our shoulders.
They could not have asked for a better June day for this wedding. The decorations for the reception were wonderful along with the ribs, meatballs, artichoke dip, chicken, and whatever you wanted to dip into the white or brown chocolate fountains. Here are some pictures from it.
All Emma could say last week was, I want cheese, ice cream, and to see Melissa in her pretty white dress and how she wanted to where hers.

New happening this week:
  1. We got 4 new trees. We got a Maple and 3 Quakies.
  2. We (our neighbors included) killed 2 gopher snakes
  3. Emma is having more success in the potty training
  4. Seth still has no desire to potty train we learned yesterday
  5. How to make compost; 3 parts grass, 3 parts leaves, 1 part water, and lots of air
  6. Grandma and Grandpa Cook(ie) have a lot of fresh peas and strawberries, yum
  7. Emma is still afraid of dogs, Seth is not
  8. Emma has learned to ride a 2 wheeler with training wheels, Seth is still figuring it out the tricycle
  9. Seth is talking more and you can actually understand: No, uh oh, huh?, Jesus, Wow, Daddy, Mommy, binky, over there, blanky.

This week

This is Seth's favorite activity as of late. He has figured out how to open the dryer door (Thanks to his mischievous sister, Emma). He will climb in there and shut the door. We have decided to always keep the laundry room shut and locked. This past weekend we went to Logan for Mrs. Boondock's sister's own endowment session.
(Natalie I fully expect you to correct my grammar, can you believe on that quiz I missed 2?) It was a fun time with Bec's family, and always enjoyable in the Temple. After the temple we went to dinner at Maddox in Birgham City, what tasty food!!!!
Emma has decided she loves popsicles.

She will eat them at any time of day no matter how full she is, kind of sounds like mom with the saced ice cream. The 4 staples in our house has become milk, cheese, ice cream, and popsicles, all cheap things of course.
New things that have happened this week-
Emma-learning and recognizing colors beyond pink and princess.
Seth-will point at you and yell no, or dad depending on what dad has done.
Mom-learning the joys of being pregnant again, and in the summer.
Dad-mow the lawn with a riding lawn mower (it is more difficult than one would expect)
Grapes- Andrea (Jeff's sister) found some grape starts for free and she called us and we got some grape starts.
Swimming- We let the kids use the new kiddie pool/ the neighbors kiddie pool
Kids- Attacking mom is fun!!!!!!!

Dad- Not all dads make great horsies.

Hello Again!! It has been a few long minutes since we last updated. We went for a walk Since these 2 lovely kids were driving mom crazy and needed to get out of the house.
Well, please make suggestions as to what you want to know about us, we will answer most everything, who knows Rebecca might answer everything. We have 2 little children, Emma that is 2.5 years old and Seth that is 18 months old. We are expecting our third child at the end of September, it is a boy. We like the name David Lund for him as a first and middle name, any suggestions?

Hello, This is our first Blog

Hello,
Today is Father's Day today. Today has been a most wonderous day. Rebecca had treated dad so well, by watching us kids, changing all our diapers, etc. We want all our family and friends to know how much we love them. Thanks.
